Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures
We encourage you to work closely with the catering manager to develop a suitable menu for your event.
Menu
Your menu is not limited to what you see here. Work with the catering manager to create a unique menu for your event.
Event Timing
In order to ensure that your event is set up and cleared in a timely manner, please supply both the start time and the end time when booking an event.
Lead Time
Please allow 2 weeks’ notice when booking your event with a minimum lead time of 10 business days for food and beverage service.
Weather/Emergency Cancellations:
If an event must be canceled or postponed due to circumstances outside of the customer’s control, we will work with the customer to reschedule the event whenever possible. Any costs already incurred for food, rentals, staffing, or other event-specific arrangements will be considered when determining the final amount due.
Final Guest Guarantees
Final guest guarantees for all catering orders must be submitted at least one week prior to the start of your event. The guaranteed number of guests will be used as the final quantity for your order and will be reflected on your invoice.
Linen
NEJC themed colors of black and gold linen are available for the food display and bar set up, buffet tables and stations, at no cost.
The guest seating tables, and extra tables such as welcome tables, etc. linens are charged at $4.00 per cloth.
If linen is required for your event or your department, without a food or beverage order, the price of $4.00 per linen.
If you require specialty linen, please contact the catering manager to discuss options available within your budget.
Special order linen colors, other than black and gold, need to be ordered at least seven (7) days in advance, to guarantee your selection.
Leftovers
For food-illness safety reasons, we do not allow customers to remove ANY food from catered events including desserts, beverages and candy.
Billing
We gladly accept VISA, Master Card or Check. Payment must be received in full prior to the event.
